One Year Anniversary!

Today marks exactly 1 year since I - and 2 others I met in the pre-surgery "green room" - signed our eyes away and let ourselves go under the knife. What a journey it has been - and one that I do not regret - despite the few tiny bumps & issues along the way. Though I will always fear early onset cataracts, the potential contraction of distance between the ICL and natural lens, [insert other risks] - these are worries that only time will tell. Thanks for the questions. Hope you all find your answers!

  2. sorry - must be just a typo - but what do you mean by "beaches?"

I did not experience any pain after the surgery of significance and I don't see double vision either. I already had night glare/streaks before the surgery: the ICLs did not make them any worse (no change).

Sounds like you should go see your eye doctor ASAP especially if you're feeling pain. Good luck!

  4. No blurriness or headaches: I have 20/20 vision both eyes together (20/30 in one eye, 20/20 in the other). I really suggestion you see a doctor immediately. Those all sound like things you should not be experiencing!

  6. Thanks Tina! No updates yet. All is good & the same! :) Don't rush yourself -- go when you feel ready. Or choose a different option. There are many if you medically eligible.

I love Australia. One of my favourite places. I need to go back with my new UV-protected ICL-eyeballs to face the Aussie sun!
